What a fantastic weekend we had! Congratulations to Nicola Jones for winning the £25.00 gift voucher in our 'Name The Bear Competition'.
Congratulations also to Ann Jenkins who won 'Stitch' (the bear named by Nicola) as our raffle prize. 'Stitch' by Samantha Potter is now on his way to a brand new home in Swansea!
A big thank you to all of you who supported us over the weekend and I can now confirm that we raised an amazing £770.84 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This is absolutely brilliant – the most we have ever raised at one single event! |

A very big thank you also to our bear artists and bear makers who donated their precious time and talent into making some wonderful creations for us to sell at the event. All of these 'Charity' bears found new homes, so they are all very happy too!!
One lucky customer had her elephant signed by the maker Emily Pitkethly at the Bear Making Demonstration on Sunday morning. A very heart felt thank you goes out to Emily who travelled all the way from Newcastle to be with us on Sunday despite family illness.
Emily's animals are proving very popular here at our bear shop in Bath and we now have Emily's Ark bear making kits on sale. For all those adventurous enough to make your own bears – personally, I would be far too impatient to know what the bear looked like before it was made!!
Watch this space for details of our October 2012 Celebrations – when House of Bears in Bath will be 5 years old!
