The Green Party Review

Fundraising - ‘The Green Party 2010’

A big thank you to everyone who supported the Green Party 2010 in October and I can now confirm that with your help we raised an amazing £515.86 for Macmillan Cancer Support – well done everyone!

In total since our fundraising for Macmillan began in October 2009 with your help we have raised £1,092.02 – which is brilliant, thank you!

Petal and FayetteTwinkle Green Party'The Green Party 2010' – The Review!!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along on Saturday and what a beautiful day it was! A special thank you goes out to miniature bear artist Samantha Potter of Mary Myrtle Miniatures who managed to make it along to our event, despite being quite poorly recently. Samantha brought with her a wonderful selection of beautifully hand crafted little bears and you can find out more on Samantha’s shop page.

Congratulations to Mrs Bear from Bristol who won ‘Twinkle Toes’ the raffle prize. It seems fitting that Mrs Bear should win the prize. It did raise a few laughs when the name was pulled out of the hat!!

Green Party HighlightsI’m pleased to say that lots of bears from artists such as Beatrix Harries; Linda Willetts; Nicky Portsmouth, and Susie James are now settling into their new homes.

If you couldn’t make it to the event and are still looking to adopt a special friend just check out the artist bear pages of the website – to see if your favourites are still waiting for you!!

We are waiting confirmation from Macmillan Cancer Support as to how much has been raised by our fundraising activities on the day as soon as we know we will put the details on the website.

Thank you so much for all your support.

Apology

Finally – I am sorry to say that we did have a problem with the order form on our website over the weekend of the party. If you were experiencing difficulties – please do contact me on 01225 443091 or email sue@houseofbears-bath.co.uk and hopefully we can help you out with your order.
